I was a little late with my last post because I just got my first Kawaii Box subscription from Blippo in the mail and I was really excited to open it and start taking pictures. This is my first subscription box of any kind. I decided to get this one because it looks like it has really cute products and it has worldwide free shipping. I’ve seen other subscription boxes that seemed interesting, but shipping to Australia can be quite expensive so I passed on those. I took a look at the content of a lot of past boxes from Blippo and it looks like most contain a pen/pencil, coin purse, key chain, sticker sheet, some kind of snack food, and a craft supply of some kind. There are a few additional items as well. I love and collect kawaii pens, stickers, coin purses, and all kinds of craft supplies so I decided this would be a great deal for me. If you have kids these are great stocking stuffers, small prizes for parties, or gifts for classmates birthday parties.  I figured I couldn’t go wrong with the items in the box and I was right!

Here is what I found in the October box.

I really, really love the cute mechanical pencil, stickers, Donald Duck and cross stitch kit! The Oreo key chain, eraser, and coin purse got snapped up right away.

The Pikachu coin purse is a good size for a child’s purse. I crocheted a strap for this purse and sewed it on behind the ears.

You can use the envelopes to wrap up small gifts or gift cards.

The cross stitch kit has patterns with it, but I decided to make different ones. You can draw your own with grid paper. Martha Stewart had an article about cross stitching your family members, and I used that as a guide to make my patterns. The star key chain came with two circles to cross stitch on, but I couldn’t close the key chain up with both inside once I made the cross stitches. Maybe because I used my thread with 2 strands instead of 1, it made it too thick to close. I’m going to see if the other circle fits into something else.  I am going to use these as Christmas tree ornaments instead of key chains. This was a really cute kit, I’m really glad it was included in this month’s box!

I’m really happy that I got this box, and I can’t wait until next month’s box!
