Kawaii Box review – November

I got this Kawaii Box a little while ago, but I was so busy with the holidays that I didn’t get to make things from the box contents until this week. This is my second box and it is full of great stuff again! I forgot to mention this in the last review, but this subscription doesn’t auto renew so it is a great option for a gift.

There were so many fun things in this box!

I think my favorite things were the Christmas stickers and the cow pen. I grew up on a dairy farm, so I love cows. This little girl is so cute!!

Here’s some more of the items. Look at that little cat in the banana! Why is the cat in the banana? Who knows, but it is cute! This candy kit is really cool. The only thing is that the instructions are in Japanese only. I don’t know if everyone got the same kit, but I found a video that shows you how to make this kit. It was a little tricky to find this instruction video. I only found this after I opened the main package and realized that this was supposed to be vanilla pudding. In general, all of the parts of this kit just needed water added and they set in 3 minutes. It helps to cut the portions apart before you start. If there is a fill line in the container, put the water in first to the fill line and then add the powder.   One of the containers in this kit is the measuring cup for the water for all the other items. Here is what it looks like made.

The white frosting is supposed to be a bit stiff. I would add less water than the measuring cup because mine “melted” down the sides. I had kid help to decorate this and they had fun. I think it may help to have an adult do the mixing if the kids are young because the jelly sets pretty quickly.

The last thing in the box was a clay food making set. My helpers quickly absconded with the little beverages and glasses for their doll house. It’s a really cute little set and I really like the little confetti decorations that come with it.

Here are the little food items I made. The clay just air dries. It stays kind of squishy, but holds it’s shape after a few hours.

Some of the sprinkles that came with the clay food kit were little stars. Every time I see little stars I think of Rainbow Brite’s star sprinkles. I put the stars into jars to make make star sprinkle necklaces. The little bottles are from FireMountainGems.com (H20-A6877FN).

The little Christmas stickers are great to make tiny Christmas cards or gift tags with.
