I got my first Pusheen box! I love this box. I think it has the most practical things for a cute/character subscription box. The shipping to Australia is a little expensive at $25 compared to the Kawaii Box that has free worldwide shipping. Although, that is a good shipping price compared to the $60 that a lot of American stores charge. The box that it comes in is really cute too! They all look like Pusheen, but they change them slightly sometimes. This one has a bow on it and the one from autumn was purple.
Just a note on shipping for Australians, I have noticed that a lot of places I shop have started shipping to Australia at reasonable rates within the last couple of years. Those include places I mention in other blog posts (FireMountainGems $15 -beads, KnitPicks is free if you spend over $100USD -wool/yarn, RueLaLa $10 if you spend at least $100USD- 40% off retired Pandora charms when they have them, and Anthropologie $25 which is my favorite for clothes and shoes, but also has a small selection of cute party supplies.
OK, back to the super cute Pusheen Box! As I said there are a lot of practical items in this box. There were things in this box that related to the holidays, like the wrapping paper, washi tape and gift tag stickers. These can be used for birthday gifts as well though.
There are also some lights, but they can be used all year long. They are indoor/outdoor lights that run off of batteries.
Here is what they look like in the dark.
I think my two favorites are the tea strainer and the insulated mug. The mug is metal on the inside, but the silicone cover lets you put hot drinks in there without burning your hands.
Don’t put your bottle away for the summer. Pusheen will also keep your drinks cold! Here she is on a 100 degree day keeping my water cold.
I love this fleece scarf and the knitted mittens. It’s very hot in Australia right now, so I don’t have a use for these right at the moment. They will be nice around mid year when it can be fairly cold in the morning, though.
Here is a close up of the vinyl Pusheen figure. There is no so for her to hang out in, so I put her in ice cream since she’s all bundled up.
Here she is making a coconut macaroon snowman.
Here is the nice set of wooden and rubber stamps. The box says they are holiday stamps, but there are only 2 that directly reference Christmas. All the others can be used year round.
