This box got held up in customs for so long! I just got it at the end of May. It is really cute though. I think my favorite item from any of the boxes was in this one.
My favorite item was this little bear. It is a sandwich mold. You put something in between two pieces of bread and then press down and it seals the bread into a little pocket. I think this is really fun and if you have kids who refuse to eat the crusts of bread, this is a quick way to remove them.
Here is what they look like when you make them.
I put mine in the oven to make grilled cheese. I think they turned out really cute! You can also put ketchup or some other kind of sauce in the eyes, nose, and mouth to make the features stand out a little more.
The pen this month was really cool. It has many different colors of ink in it!
Going along with the rainbow theme, the little plush and coin purse in this month’s box were combined into one item. This little alpaca has a place to hold a card on the back and it has a clip attached to a pull string. It is a coin purse, but it has a lot of stuffing so you can’t fit a ton in there. It would be good for a child to put their bus pass and lunch money in, and clip to their bag.
These little hair ties are smaller than most and they are good for little kid’s hair or baby doll bracelets.
There was also Glow-in-the-dark nail polish! I think this may be what held the box up in customs. The nail polish glows in the dark when it is in the bottle. It doesn’t glow a lot on your nails, but I am guessing it probably glows well under a black light.
This box included a little mirror also.
Every box has some kind of treat in it. This month there was this cute gummy candy and a sucker.
Just in time for donut day, we have these little donut sticky notes! These are such a fun way to leave a note for someone! Kids could also play donut shop with these.
The last item is this sheet of stickers. The wheels on the truck actually move! These little stickers are really cute; so cute that I thought kids would want to play with them instead of just sticking them to a piece of paper. So I made a little food truck play set out of them. I used the card from the pack to make some tables to put on this tin. You can move this little food around from one table to another.
So here is everything in the box! Hopefully the May box doesn’t get stuck in customs. If it goes through like it has in the past, I might be getting it soon! If you’d like to get a Kawaii Box, you can do so here.
