I got my first Sanrio Loot Crate! It seemed like quite a long time to wait for this! This box is really cute. I have loved Hello Kitty since I was 3 and my aunt brought me back a purse with Hello Kitty on it from her trip to Japan.
One of the really cool things about Loot Crate is that the boxes are decorated on the inside. I turned mine inside out and kept it to store little notebooks/notepads in. The information card from this box is a poster on the other side. It is so cute with Hello Kitty as a mermaid and my favorite characters, Little Twin Stars.
The items in the box came wrapped in this cute paper that you can color and/or use as wrapping paper. A while back I decided that I’m not buying any more present wrapping supplies. I just try to use recycled materials all the time, so stuff like this is perfect to save, especially if you are giving a Sanrio gift.
Every Sanrio box has a little trinket attached to the wrapping paper, just like when you visit a Sanrio store. This month it was a little folded sticker sheet. Last box and this one had little pins that look like patches. They are so cute! It’s cool to get the look of a patch without actually having to sew it on to something.
This little bag was probably my favorite item. It would be good to put makeup or sunscreen in when traveling. It is plastic so you can easily clean it if something spills. The back of this looks like an iridescent clam shell.
You can clip this sweet little Hello Kitty on a bag. I love her with her little rainbow mermaid tail!
The wearable item in this box is a tank top. It is really cute, but I found the arm holes on this to be really deep. Maybe it is meant to be oversized, but it seems to run quite large. I’m going to have to take it in to wear it. It’s really cute though.
The last item was this sarong. It was shipped separately. This month’s box was held up quite a bit even with the missing item. This is really cute and it is the type of thing I use as a sun cover up, although it is pretty sheer. You could use it as a very light scarf as well. It is meant to look like mermaid scales with the little characters peaking out, and it has a very nice soft jewel tone color pallet.
I really like the items in this box, but I’m trying to decide if I should keep ordering it. I never got the spring box, and after quite a few emails back and forth with customer service I think they are sending one. Although I still haven’t gotten it yet. We’ll see if I actually get the two boxes I paid for.
