When Galaxy’s Edge opened I couldn’t wait to go. I read about everything and I decided to make some food in honor of it. First, I made Bantha cookies with coconut and chocolate “fur”. The horns are made from Pavlova mix. My blue milk is just milk with blue food coloring. 🙂
I also had a go at making one of the drinks from the Cantina. This is an iced drink made from black tea, cinnamon, sugar to taste, vanilla extract, and chocolate milk.
This little doll is based off of one I saw in an episode of the Clone Wars. This is a Twi’lek Tooka doll.
This little BB8 has magnets in it so his head can come off and go back on. He is basically a ball for the bottom, and a half ball at the top. I just stitched the details on the bottom.
I made several variations of baby Yoda. It is based on the Yoda crochet pattern by Lucy Colin. I just did 2 fewer rows in his body and made his arms a bit simpler, and his ears a bit larger.
I also made some Mandalorian cookies. I used cookie cutters from Williams Sonoma, and just flattened the forehead wrinkles a bit and took the flag off the helmet.
And I did get to Galaxy’s Edge!
There were great souvenirs there also! Han Solo’s dice were probably the coolest with a lower price than the holocrons.
