I’ve made some more Num Noms out of food. The first series was all cupcakes and ice cream, but they have branched out a lot in series 2 and 3. I love these fruit and vegetable ones.

This is the fifth group of edible Num Noms that I’ve made, and after all these attempts I’ve decided that the easiest way to make the faces on these is to use melted chocolate. I used the end of a chopstick to dot the eye on and then I used a toothpick to paint the other details on.

I cut a bit off the bottom of this peach and cut the pit out so it would sit flat on the plate. I used part of that as the ears and attached them with toothpicks. The flower is a little store-bought sugar decoration.

I cut the bottom off this strawberry and used a little bit of the end for one ear. I cut the same amount off another strawberry for the other ear. These strawberries were very ripe so I just needed to put them on the top of the strawberry and they stayed there nicely.

You can use the extra peel that you cut from the banana as the ears.

I used the part of the watermelon that I sliced off to make the ears for this bunny. I used two toothpicks for each ear so that the rind wouldn’t spin around. It is quite heavy so it wasn’t really working with only one toothpick as support. The bow is tied to a toothpick as well. The face was very easy to make because I just drew it on to the rind with a Sharpie. I think I made the eyes a little close together though. They’re spaced out quite a bit more on the toy.
