Stranger Things is a very popular subject of cross stitch projects it seems. I made two projects based on it. The first one is based on “The Upside Down”. I made the demogorgon based on the pattern for a flower. It almost looks like a flower on a branch when it is upside down. I based the pattern for Eleven on a perler bead pattern I saw online. You can find similar patterns for all of the characters. This frame is perfect for this cross stitch because you can easily turn it upside down. You can change which side is up based on your mood.

This is a pretty popular cross stitch subject. I think it is cute that it looks like a sampler. I didn’t make a standardized version of these letter since Joyce had just quickly drawn them on her wall. This was pretty easy because I made the letters free hand. All the light bulbs are the same. It just took a while to count out all the spaces between the lights. This frame is the same on both sides so both of these projects are in the same frame. I got this frame so long ago from a party supply website that has closed. I’m not sure if they sell these anywhere else, but if I ever find something similar on sale again, I’ll link to it here. I wish I would have bought more of these at the time because they are a fun way to display cross stitch projects.
