Kuu Kuu Harajuku Party

Kuu Kuu Harajuku Party

Kuu Kuu Harajuku is a a TV show about a fictional band. It is based off of Gwen Stefani’s LAMB characters. It is heavily influenced by Japan’s Kawaii style. There are toys, but I think they may have recently discontinued the line. The little dolls shown here are the tops from perfume bottles. They were sold in the mid to late 2000s.

As far as I know there are no party supplies for this theme, but you can really find anything cute.

This party had several activities:

Decorating Treat Bags with Cute Stickers

Decorating Cupcakes

The containers are yogurt containers that I washed out and flipped upside down. I used washi tape to hold the containers together after the cupcakes were in them.

Making Big Hair Bows

I got a bow making kit from a Target (USA) and then bought the plastic jewels, more 38mm ribbon (1m per bow) and some hair dresser’s hair clips to make the bows at the party. You’ll need mom’s help if the girls are in year K or 1. I used a hot glue gun to add the jewel. The kit had what looked like fabric glue, but you have to wait a while for it to dry. Just be careful with the glue gun. The glue and the tip are very hot so don’t let the kids near it. (And try not to burn yourself)

Hair Beads

I also made some little beads like the ones Angel wears in her braids for the birthday girl to wear out of Femo clay.

All these party favors came from Daiso (Australia)
