Well I am shockingly behind on my Kawaii Box posts! I missed a box in this time frame as well, but here are most of the boxes from the first part of this year.

January

This box had a ton of stationary, which I love. This little Moomin plush is really cute and it came with a suction cup so it can hang on a window. This little spray bottle came in handy because it was very hot outside when I got this box and my little Kawaii fan used the spray bottle filled with water to cool off during the day.

There was a great set of candy shaped highlighters and a squishy which are always appreciated at my house. This candy kit was very interesting. I discuss that more below.

Continuing on the stationary theme, there is a set of tiny washi tape rolls, a cool pen, tiny stamps, really cool food stickers, and a hole puncher shaped like a whale. I love the stickers and the hole puncher. I’ve always loved punches that make cool designs and this one gets bonus points for being in the shape of a cute animal!

Here is what the candy kit looks like. It took me all the way until now to get around to finally trying it. I was skeptical that I could find a video that showed me how to do it, but I found it right away. I just googled “kracie jelly science kit”. This one is pretty simple. You just need to cut apart the plastic segments along the line, and fill each with water to the little fill line that is about half way up the tray. Then put the green packet in the large one and stir. Put the purple one in one small tray and the purple in the other and stir. then you need to poor some of the purple one into the 5cc spoon. Slowly lower the spoon into the green liquid and try to just plop it into it. Repeat with the rest of the purple and the blue. Then you kind of stir the stuff around and it makes jelly balls. They will still be liquid inside. Some of ours were a little weird shaped, but they still made liquid filled sacks. This was a fun and really easy kit. These kits are my favorite additions to the boxes. They seem very exotic to me and kids have a lot of fun making them.

February

This box was filled with all kinds of things for Valentines Day! I noticed in this box and the last there was a repeat of some things. This bead kit has been in the box before. Although, I love getting craft kits so I’m happy with that. Also if you have more than one child you can split things so one of the other kids gets the item this time around. I used the luggage tag to put my bu pass in and it fit perfectly and was still able to be scanned while in the plastic. It is so much better than the flimsy plastic holder that came with my lanyard that was falling apart! I always appreciate it when there is a pen or pencil in the box. This pencil is particularly cute with the little candy dangling off of it.

There were two panda themed items in this month’s box. I love how the little panda cookies look! I’ve gotten these in chocolate before, but these strawberry ones are perfect for Valentines Day! The little panda stickers are just as sweet as the cookies!

I love it when the boxes have practical items in them. Socks are some of my favorite items. My big kawaii fan loves to get a cute new pair of socks to wear. The little Sanrio dish even matches them!

Following on the theme of Valentines Day are these pink heart items. My little kawaii fan loves squishies and she loves all of these super girly items.

I used some of the pink panda cookies to make a Valentines Day sundae.

April

Unfortunately I forgot to reorder before the March box and missed out on the cherry blossom themed March box. I’ve missed the Easter box before though so I’m glad that didn’t happen again this year! The April box had a ton of craft supplies, which made this one one of my favorite boxes of the year. The little containers all have supplies to decorate nails, but my big kawaii fan used them for her art projects. My little kawaii fan decorated the box in the next picture with these cool gem stickers. That may look like lipstick, but it is actually a very fancy crayon! The bunny pen was perfect for Easter baskets.

There was a bit of a cat theme to this month’s box with the little paperclips/bookmarks and the cat plushy. This cat plushie is super soft and squishy. This is one of my favorite plushies from the Kawaii boxes. the little cup is a key chain. It may be a bit fragile to use with your keys, but it is perfect for a treat for dolls.

I also love it when there are Disney items in the boxes. The notebook is adorable and it has pages that can be torn out easily. It is a perfect size for grocery shopping lists. My favorite item from this box was definitely these little Disney cookies. The packaging and the cookies are amazing!

Even the inside of the box is decorated!

I was not expecting so many different Disney characters to be on these cookies. Is your favorite in here? I know mine (Jasmine) was in there along with Peter Pan and Anna!

May

This month’s theme is Birthday Party. There is a full set of colored pens in this box and a great folder and washi tape. The cute plushy for this month follows along with the stationary theme and both my kawaii fans wanted it.

This month had a Disney item. Our box had Minnie Mouse, but some of the other boxes had princess dress up stickers. You can use the background from the pack as the background for the dolls.

These little zip lock bags came in a set of 3 sandwich bag sized and 3 id sized bags. they are much thicker than the ones you’d find in the store and they seem like they would be great for travel. The candy this month had a little pen that added a sugar syrup to the candy flowers.

You can see what the candy looks like out of the package below.

June

This month’s box had a by the sea theme, which is perfect for summer. I love that the boxes have things with the kawaii box mascot on them. All of the mermaid things are adorable, but I especially like the little tiny stickers. You can see a close up picture of them below. The pen is great. It is a black gel pen and the little jelly fish on it is so cute! I think my favorite item is the little set of narwhal post it notes. I love narwhals and these notes are really cute!

This month has some cat items also. The little stickers are so cute. I love the pastel colors and candy. You can see a close up of them below. Little Twin Stars are my favorite Sanrio characters and I love the little key cover that came in this month’s box.

This month there was a mystery item. We got a big stick of grape gum. The treat item was also gum and my big Kawaii fan loved both of them. The Kirby gum was bright colored gum balls that can be chewed in different combination for different flavors.
