Things that are IN

In book 6 of A Series of Unfortunate Events, the Baudelaires have a new guardian that is obsessed with what is “in”. That is basically all she talks about. I went through the book to find the list of what is in and what is out. The list of things that are out is considerably shorter, although things inevitable move from one list to the other. Some of my previous blog posts are “in” I guess, because I had pictures for some of the things on this list. There is a link to the post if I’ve written about the pictured item before. You could use this list as a scavenger hunt for a party. Either have things for people to find around your house or send people out to take pictures of these things.

Doilies are involved in a plot point in The Ersatz Elevator.

If you like lists of things from A Series of Unfortunate Events, you can also take a look at all the Various Frightful Dishes mentioned in the book series.

You can get some of your own “in” and “out” things. Who knew there would actually be a garbage can with alphabet letters on it?
